Life:- A journey of Endless Desires

Well, its been quite long since I wrote a blog. Many of my peers and well-wishers did always ask me to write one but amidst this chaos of building a career and establishing myself, I was unable to do the same.

So as you all know the world is going haywire due to COVID-19 and everyone is quarantined and self-isolated in their homes and doing lots of interesting things to keep themselves entertained๐Ÿ˜. I never knew some of my friends have such great talents until I saw some great dishes๐Ÿ˜‹, some very beautiful sketches, paintings๐Ÿ˜, some melodious song covers, and what not!

I remember a time when we all desired a break from the monotony of our life routines and just need a vacay or some time at home with loved ones. Some time to do what we like. Usually, we all are working 5 days a week 9-5 jobs and a routine is set and there is no hope for such a desire. Weekends were the most loved days in a week. Now it has been almost 2 months since we are getting all of it, we are at home, we can do whatever we like, obviously work is a part of our life but I believe its much more relaxing right now as we are in the comfort of our home. BUT the question is - Are we liking it now?

My answer will be NO. My opinions might differ with some of you but this is just my thought. While talking to my friends I noticed one thing i.e. we all are wishing for all this to get over and just get back to lead the normal life, the regular routine, regular workdays, regular tasks, regular weekends. Yes, you read that right we are desiring to get our that monotonous life back! But why is so? We are getting what we wanted in the first place.๐Ÿ˜

And when I pondered, I got to know that this is how life is. The grass is always greener on the other side. People are making plans to meet, to go out with their loved ones and friends, to travel once the lockdown is finally over. This lockdown has surely made many of us realize the importance of freedom that we have missed during this time. And I am pretty sure, many of us will have a new lookout to life now.๐Ÿ˜Š

This Lockdown has also been a blessing in disguise for Mother Earth. No Pollution from vehicles and industries, Air Quality levels increasing, No toxic foams in rivers, Flora and Fauna are flourishing and the world is getting a better place to live๐ŸŒ. Human activities have always messed up with nature's cycle. Our desire for more has led us to exploit the forests, rivers, and pretty much every other natural resource we can utilize. So this lockdown has helped in the recovery of nature.

People will always desire something better in their life. This desire is needed to grow but one must always be thankful and value what one has. Love the people around you. Live the life to fullest and enjoy each and every moment coz you never know when your life can turn around in a matter of days.๐Ÿ˜‰

I know we are docile to the current situation but remember this too shall pass.๐Ÿ˜„
Wishing everyone good health๐Ÿ’“. Stay Home๐Ÿก. Stay Safe๐Ÿ‘. Peace✌.

#15 Coz Life goes on!

PROLOGUE:

Many at times every one of you must have heard this that "No matter what, Life goes on..", and this is an inevitable truth and the sooner one accepts it, the happier is he to become.Very soon people close to you will go away...time and distance will throw them apart, soon the photos will be mere lifeless snaps, the times spent will be mere memories, your notification shade will no more show a pop up of being tagged in a meme by the same person who was your meme buddy! All the laughs, the cries, the hugs, the moments will be remembered desperately because you know you cannot live them again.Your group will become a phonebook contact, which once used to be on the top of call logs.As your college life ends many things will get replaced in your life too! Friends will be replaced by colleagues, food court lunches will be replaced by high profile board meetings, and the ratio of a spoon to mouth which used to be 1:4 will become 1:1๐Ÿ˜Š.There won't be any other hands feeding you except your own.You will be relieved of the whole group making fun of you๐Ÿ˜Œ,but.....trust me on this one....You don't want that feeling in your life anytime soon. But as they say " Life goes on...:)", so must we.

LIVE THE FULLEST!

Melancholy is as seductive as ecstasy๐Ÿ˜˜.
Spend time with the ones who are really important to you.Make them feel that they are important, you might not get another chance!Academics, your goals, your desires all are important and you gotta balance it all together, a tough job.Set your priorities right.Always remember two types of people in your life, One who put you in difficult times and the one who got you through difficult times.Develop a strong and real bond with the few good people in your life rather than getting attached to everyone easily. It will hurt you only at the end.On the other hand, also not to forget that getting too attached to anyone will also not fetch any good in the long run.Yeah! it's a fucked up life.Don't give too much importance to something that won't matter 5 years from now. Stay calm and enjoy every possible happiness whilst you can!Give Love with an open heart because the world needs more of that.๐Ÿ’—

EPILOGUE:

At the end of the day, down the line, you gotta survive on your own buddy.Be mentally and emotionally strong enough to let people go and move on.Be very firm and thoughtful about whom you wanna spend your precious time with. Nobody is perfect. Learn to respect each other's flaws and accept them.Meet up with a huge smile, spread positivity, never let any situation overpower you of who you are!Be Happy in other's success and think good of each other.Even when things don't seem right...just know that this too shall pass because as we all very well know"Life goes on...The Life goes on..."

#14 New people.

Back to the hobby after a long time!
Feels good.๐Ÿ˜‡

The Thought.

As we grow up many of us move to different places for higher studies and meet a totally different group of people leaving behind our limited friend circle. We make new friends...some become very close to us and are almost a part of our life. College seems fun with these people...a new bond is developed. From sharing food, bed, personal belongings to going out to most random trips together we start building memories with them.No doubt we enjoy meeting new people and hanging out with them.๐Ÿ˜Š

Suddenly we forget what is left behind  i.e Our “that” little friend circle. It is a controversial statement I just wrote and many hands would be raised to speak up to me against this.I agree that this won't be true for everyone and I do appreciate if this isn't true for you. But this statement was for those who just recalled all the names and memorable moments they shared with their schoolmates and friends. Yes! Maybe you did remember someone.

How to catch up?

Maybe just a hi! Or a call? It will fill you with life! You will just re-live your school life again by a discussion over the phone with your schoolmate.  Take the initiative and you will like it! There must be many people whom you weren't in touch with right after school got over...ask them where they have been all the way long..maybe screw them for not being in touch!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜œand boast about You being the one to establish the connection. Haha! #justsomeIndianthings๐Ÿ˜‰ Plan a visit to them or maybe a reunion to rebound all the memories together again. And believe me, once you get to that phase of recalling all the memories again....you won't be able to get out from it until you have discussed how you scored A+ in every subject in the nursery to how you made fun of some fat ugly math's teacher in your +2!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Oh, I remember this!๐Ÿ˜‚

The Monotony.

People say college friends are for a lifetime, you may not be connected to all your school friends for life. Partially agreed. No doubt. But on the other hand, it is not that you won't be able to keep your school friends for a lifetime...it's just that communication with them may decrease coz there would be no common topic for discussion. Everyone is going places as per their career demands and obviously, new people and connection will grow eventually but what is important is to keep in mind who means what to you and how to prioritize your time for them.

Trust me, it would have happened to everyone, whenever we see our best friend enjoying with a new college group, we do miss the time we all had similar kind of fun! Well practically it may or may not be possible to relive those moments again but taking the initiative is the least one can do or I should correct myself 'One should do'. Because at the end of the day it is you and your memories people will remember rather than how much money you made. And living in the memories of someone is the most beautiful thing one can achieve.

Go Ahead!

• 3 Things to keep in mind while meeting new people:-

√ Meet new people but make time for the old ones.

√ Don't expect everyone new person you meet to be same as everyone you already know. Everyone has a different story and different outlook on everything.

√One who left his/her old friends to be with you may do it again for someone else. So who knows, you could be the next!

#13 Here and There - Old Delhi.

My first Travel Blog.๐Ÿ˜‡
So today let's start with the capital of India, Delhi. Delhi which was formerly called as Indraprastha is a really busy place and life never stops there. New Delhi Railway Station or 'NDLS' as we call it ! is one of the busiest railway stations in India. Too many people traverse in and out of the streets of Delhi on a daily basis. Main tourists attractions include India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Old Fort, Jantar Mantar, etc. Every day you see a new face with a new story behind it and I'm sure you just can't get enough of it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The place I visited was located in the heart of Delhi, Chandni Chowk. O-Buoy! Any Indian female can tell you about this place ๐Ÿ˜ It's famous for its Food and is the shopping hub mainly focusing on ladies garments. It's situated in old Delhi and has connectivity through Metro as well as public transport like buses.
When you enter into the area you can see buildings of an old-fashioned architecture using cemented tiles and beautifully engraved window openings.Every house has shops on the ground floor and entering the house feels like entering a maze with a lot of openings and balconies.
A totally new vision for all those who are used to malls, height defining skyscrapers and buildings. Everyone seems too busy in their own work processes and life seems going at a very fast pace. There is no time for anyone and everyone is in a hurry. You might not actually wanna bring you car in this crowd.๐Ÿ˜œSmiling faces,  unlimited multicolored flex boards, too many lives and that my friend are just Delhi things!

The first famous eatery in the place is Natraj Cafe serving Dahi balla and aloo tikkis since 1940. Yes, you read it right! since 1940!!๐Ÿ˜ฑ and trust me there is something about its food that this old cafe has survived in this competitive world with all the big brands present in the vicinity of the area. Such an incredible and totally fascinating taste๐Ÿ˜. The crisp aloo tikki and the refreshing dahi balla is capable of rejuvenating all the taste buds on your tongue. Cheap and Best classic Indian snack is a must try!๐Ÿ‘The cafe is situated inside one of the many narrow streets of Chandni chowk and No. of people entering and exiting that street is just uncountable and getting inside the cafe might be a tough job! ๐Ÿ˜›One will just keep on standing at a place if he doesn't make his way through. Hehe, Delhi but as they say good things aren't easy to get.

Next place to be while in Delhi is the Amritsari Lassi Wala. Lassi is drink loved by a whole of north India and mainly in the parts of Punjab. But, Once you have a Lassi here...No matter where you are from you will fall in love with it. The shop itself is the legend and is situated at the corner displaying all the cutouts of the newspapers in which it's featured in. They serve various flavors of Lassi at a reasonable cost in a pretty large glass enough to give your hunger a timely pause.

There are many other places to find out but the day permitted only these! Until next time .๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘‹
