Life:- A journey of Endless Desires

Well, its been quite long since I wrote a blog. Many of my peers and well-wishers did always ask me to write one but amidst this chaos of building a career and establishing myself, I was unable to do the same.

So as you all know the world is going haywire due to COVID-19 and everyone is quarantined and self-isolated in their homes and doing lots of interesting things to keep themselves entertained๐Ÿ˜. I never knew some of my friends have such great talents until I saw some great dishes๐Ÿ˜‹, some very beautiful sketches, paintings๐Ÿ˜, some melodious song covers, and what not!

I remember a time when we all desired a break from the monotony of our life routines and just need a vacay or some time at home with loved ones. Some time to do what we like. Usually, we all are working 5 days a week 9-5 jobs and a routine is set and there is no hope for such a desire. Weekends were the most loved days in a week. Now it has been almost 2 months since we are getting all of it, we are at home, we can do whatever we like, obviously work is a part of our life but I believe its much more relaxing right now as we are in the comfort of our home. BUT the question is - Are we liking it now?

My answer will be NO. My opinions might differ with some of you but this is just my thought. While talking to my friends I noticed one thing i.e. we all are wishing for all this to get over and just get back to lead the normal life, the regular routine, regular workdays, regular tasks, regular weekends. Yes, you read that right we are desiring to get our that monotonous life back! But why is so? We are getting what we wanted in the first place.๐Ÿ˜

And when I pondered, I got to know that this is how life is. The grass is always greener on the other side. People are making plans to meet, to go out with their loved ones and friends, to travel once the lockdown is finally over. This lockdown has surely made many of us realize the importance of freedom that we have missed during this time. And I am pretty sure, many of us will have a new lookout to life now.๐Ÿ˜Š

This Lockdown has also been a blessing in disguise for Mother Earth. No Pollution from vehicles and industries, Air Quality levels increasing, No toxic foams in rivers, Flora and Fauna are flourishing and the world is getting a better place to live๐ŸŒ. Human activities have always messed up with nature's cycle. Our desire for more has led us to exploit the forests, rivers, and pretty much every other natural resource we can utilize. So this lockdown has helped in the recovery of nature.

People will always desire something better in their life. This desire is needed to grow but one must always be thankful and value what one has. Love the people around you. Live the life to fullest and enjoy each and every moment coz you never know when your life can turn around in a matter of days.๐Ÿ˜‰

I know we are docile to the current situation but remember this too shall pass.๐Ÿ˜„
Wishing everyone good health๐Ÿ’“. Stay Home๐Ÿก. Stay Safe๐Ÿ‘. Peace✌.

#15 Coz Life goes on!

PROLOGUE:

Many at times every one of you must have heard this that "No matter what, Life goes on..", and this is an inevitable truth and the sooner one accepts it, the happier is he to become.Very soon people close to you will go away...time and distance will throw them apart, soon the photos will be mere lifeless snaps, the times spent will be mere memories, your notification shade will no more show a pop up of being tagged in a meme by the same person who was your meme buddy! All the laughs, the cries, the hugs, the moments will be remembered desperately because you know you cannot live them again.Your group will become a phonebook contact, which once used to be on the top of call logs.As your college life ends many things will get replaced in your life too! Friends will be replaced by colleagues, food court lunches will be replaced by high profile board meetings, and the ratio of a spoon to mouth which used to be 1:4 will become 1:1๐Ÿ˜Š.There won't be any other hands feeding you except your own.You will be relieved of the whole group making fun of you๐Ÿ˜Œ,but.....trust me on this one....You don't want that feeling in your life anytime soon. But as they say " Life goes on...:)", so must we.

LIVE THE FULLEST!

Melancholy is as seductive as ecstasy๐Ÿ˜˜.
Spend time with the ones who are really important to you.Make them feel that they are important, you might not get another chance!Academics, your goals, your desires all are important and you gotta balance it all together, a tough job.Set your priorities right.Always remember two types of people in your life, One who put you in difficult times and the one who got you through difficult times.Develop a strong and real bond with the few good people in your life rather than getting attached to everyone easily. It will hurt you only at the end.On the other hand, also not to forget that getting too attached to anyone will also not fetch any good in the long run.Yeah! it's a fucked up life.Don't give too much importance to something that won't matter 5 years from now. Stay calm and enjoy every possible happiness whilst you can!Give Love with an open heart because the world needs more of that.๐Ÿ’—

EPILOGUE:

At the end of the day, down the line, you gotta survive on your own buddy.Be mentally and emotionally strong enough to let people go and move on.Be very firm and thoughtful about whom you wanna spend your precious time with. Nobody is perfect. Learn to respect each other's flaws and accept them.Meet up with a huge smile, spread positivity, never let any situation overpower you of who you are!Be Happy in other's success and think good of each other.Even when things don't seem right...just know that this too shall pass because as we all very well know"Life goes on...The Life goes on..."

Comment your views down below and let the emotions flow!๐Ÿ˜
Thank you.

#14 New people.

Back to the hobby after a long time!
Feels good.๐Ÿ˜‡

The Thought.

As we grow up many of us move to different places for higher studies and meet a totally different group of people leaving behind our limited friend circle. We make new friends...some become very close to us and are almost a part of our life. College seems fun with these people...a new bond is developed. From sharing food, bed, personal belongings to going out to most random trips together we start building memories with them.No doubt we enjoy meeting new people and hanging out with them.๐Ÿ˜Š

Suddenly we forget what is left behind  i.e Our “that” little friend circle. It is a controversial statement I just wrote and many hands would be raised to speak up to me against this.I agree that this won't be true for everyone and I do appreciate if this isn't true for you. But this statement was for those who just recalled all the names and memorable moments they shared with their schoolmates and friends. Yes! Maybe you did remember someone.

How to catch up?

Maybe just a hi! Or a call? It will fill you with life! You will just re-live your school life again by a discussion over the phone with your schoolmate.  Take the initiative and you will like it! There must be many people whom you weren't in touch with right after school got over...ask them where they have been all the way long..maybe screw them for not being in touch!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜œand boast about You being the one to establish the connection. Haha! #justsomeIndianthings๐Ÿ˜‰ Plan a visit to them or maybe a reunion to rebound all the memories together again. And believe me, once you get to that phase of recalling all the memories again....you won't be able to get out from it until you have discussed how you scored A+ in every subject in the nursery to how you made fun of some fat ugly math's teacher in your +2!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Oh, I remember this!๐Ÿ˜‚

The Monotony.

People say college friends are for a lifetime, you may not be connected to all your school friends for life. Partially agreed. No doubt. But on the other hand, it is not that you won't be able to keep your school friends for a lifetime...it's just that communication with them may decrease coz there would be no common topic for discussion. Everyone is going places as per their career demands and obviously, new people and connection will grow eventually but what is important is to keep in mind who means what to you and how to prioritize your time for them.

Trust me, it would have happened to everyone, whenever we see our best friend enjoying with a new college group, we do miss the time we all had similar kind of fun! Well practically it may or may not be possible to relive those moments again but taking the initiative is the least one can do or I should correct myself 'One should do'. Because at the end of the day it is you and your memories people will remember rather than how much money you made. And living in the memories of someone is the most beautiful thing one can achieve.

Go Ahead!

• 3 Things to keep in mind while meeting new people:-

√ Meet new people but make time for the old ones.

√ Don't expect everyone new person you meet to be same as everyone you already know. Everyone has a different story and different outlook on everything.

√One who left his/her old friends to be with you may do it again for someone else. So who knows, you could be the next!

#13 Here and There - Old Delhi.

My first Travel Blog.๐Ÿ˜‡
So today let's start with the capital of India, Delhi. Delhi which was formerly called as Indraprastha is a really busy place and life never stops there. New Delhi Railway Station or 'NDLS' as we call it ! is one of the busiest railway stations in India. Too many people traverse in and out of the streets of Delhi on a daily basis. Main tourists attractions include India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Old Fort, Jantar Mantar, etc. Every day you see a new face with a new story behind it and I'm sure you just can't get enough of it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The place I visited was located in the heart of Delhi, Chandni Chowk. O-Buoy! Any Indian female can tell you about this place ๐Ÿ˜ It's famous for its Food and is the shopping hub mainly focusing on ladies garments. It's situated in old Delhi and has connectivity through Metro as well as public transport like buses.
When you enter into the area you can see buildings of an old-fashioned architecture using cemented tiles and beautifully engraved window openings.Every house has shops on the ground floor and entering the house feels like entering a maze with a lot of openings and balconies.
A totally new vision for all those who are used to malls, height defining skyscrapers and buildings. Everyone seems too busy in their own work processes and life seems going at a very fast pace. There is no time for anyone and everyone is in a hurry. You might not actually wanna bring you car in this crowd.๐Ÿ˜œSmiling faces,  unlimited multicolored flex boards, too many lives and that my friend are just Delhi things!

The first famous eatery in the place is Natraj Cafe serving Dahi balla and aloo tikkis since 1940. Yes, you read it right! since 1940!!๐Ÿ˜ฑ and trust me there is something about its food that this old cafe has survived in this competitive world with all the big brands present in the vicinity of the area. Such an incredible and totally fascinating taste๐Ÿ˜. The crisp aloo tikki and the refreshing dahi balla is capable of rejuvenating all the taste buds on your tongue. Cheap and Best classic Indian snack is a must try!๐Ÿ‘The cafe is situated inside one of the many narrow streets of Chandni chowk and No. of people entering and exiting that street is just uncountable and getting inside the cafe might be a tough job! ๐Ÿ˜›One will just keep on standing at a place if he doesn't make his way through. Hehe, Delhi but as they say good things aren't easy to get.

Next place to be while in Delhi is the Amritsari Lassi Wala. Lassi is drink loved by a whole of north India and mainly in the parts of Punjab. But, Once you have a Lassi here...No matter where you are from you will fall in love with it. The shop itself is the legend and is situated at the corner displaying all the cutouts of the newspapers in which it's featured in. They serve various flavors of Lassi at a reasonable cost in a pretty large glass enough to give your hunger a timely pause.

There are many other places to find out but the day permitted only these! Until next time .๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘‹

#11 The Numbers game.

In today's competitive world, every student just desires to score the highest marks and this quench is neverending. According to me, marks are literally just figures which tell how much you can successfully mug up and spit out on the sheet.๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘

Exams are going on and students are under a lot of pressure on the exams, parents, community, etc. Basically, everyone wants the student to score good and presentable marks.Especially for these students, I want to suggest that don't feel pressurized, stay calm and just work smart. Rest all will be well at the end of the day. The problem is, everyone loves to compare their child with others.Seriously?Cmon dude.Be happy with what your child scores and nobody can be compared, everyone is unique. Facts prove that the most successful people were college and high school drop outs! So chill down everyone! Take a breath and get a life!๐Ÿ˜Š

Scenario worsens when the results are out. Students who score good marks get into good colleges most of who don't even know what they really want to do.But the students who score average marks are judged on their performance and are looked down upon in the society. Why so? The guy or girl you just gave a tag of being blunt in studies may be a skillful and ingenious artist or may be a strong athlete. Life doesn't end there. Also, People need to change their mentality. Students are criticized so much for not being good academically that some of them find ending their life as the best options as they are made to believe that they are good for nothing.Yes. It is true.Students commit suicides due to this numbers game.Is it really that important?more than someone's life? Parents must understand this that bad results are not the end of the world. Figure out what your child wants to do and let him do it.Be supportive! Your child may be already going through a lot and your care and support will actually matter a lot.

On the student's side, I wanna say that all the students who score well in exams, good for you!๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘ But don't get too upset if you acquire a failure in your life.Try to learn from it instead of getting depressed.Nobody is perfect and nobody grows without encountering a failure.Everyone has to face hard times. Some students can go to ANY extent to score good marks ๐Ÿ˜ฆ.Trust me its actually undesirable coz down the line everyone is gonna be successful and happy one day.

#10 The Heart stuff

Back again fellow readers! Was induldged in my own internal affairs of life. First and foremost I'd like to wish everyone a very Happy and Prosperous New Year! 😊
And as the new year begins it brings along with it a new energy,a new hope and Time to become a New YOU,leaving all the bad inside you.

Ok people 2016 has ended and So must all the grudges , ill feelings and negativity end. Nothing deserves to be part of your life that makes your heart heavy.Sort things out.Give relationships a new start.See the positive of the other being and that's how you attain inner peace.🤗

People change according to their convinence and choice. Try not to get bothered.I know expectations hurt always but the truth is one who has changed will not be back again.Learn to live with this change. Secondly, the most important thing is to be happy alone. You give to much to others, they take you for granted?Their fault. But this leaves us with a question that should we continue to do the same knowing that we are taken for granted? And the answer is :- Your choice!Do what makes you happy. I won't suggest you to be an Angel and continue doing the same without expecting anything,or become a Satan and don't even bother about that person. It's completly upto you. Someday you will get what you deserve, one who loves you the same way you want to be loved. It will be an automated event. Don't run after someone's importance,if they care they would do it anyways, never will let you be alone.Distance is just a word. People are never busy enough to ignore the important people in their lifes. Its all a matter of priorities.

After doing the wrong people will defend themselves, but you already know the truth, the exact reason for their actions. So you need not worry.Time will give you the solution and will give them a lesson for doing the wrong.Just be happy with what you have and most importantly VALUE the ones who love you. Recognise them and treasure them throughout your life. They are the ones with real good hearts and you would never wanna hurt a person with a good heart!

#9 The ultimate TRUTH..

People and the world are full of lies....and in this world full of lies the only truth is....DEATH. Yes, people, it's definite that anybody who is born has to go one day and this is the ultimate truth. No exceptions.Death spares none.Rich or poor, smart or dumb, beautiful or ugly, everyone is same for it. Everyone comes with nothing and goes with nothing. When a person dies.with him dies many relations and bond which bring sadness.Untimely death is very painful and losing someone close to you is disheartening in itself.

But physical death is not the only truth...People may seem happy on the outside but inside they may be dying due to broken dreams, broken hearts, situational conditions...and this in itself is the truth of life. One must feel blessed if he/she has a happy life with maybe a small group of friends ,small but happy family and a little wealth.Life is a blessing,a gift.It should be valued.

Everyone is running after money, fame, carrying grudges against each other, giving pain to each other.Life is too short for such things and these things won't matter when death approaches. The memories you made with some special people, the relations you had with your family and friends, your deeds....these will matter when one is on his death bed.

Although it brings sadness but death is the ultimate truth of life and one must accept this very practically. And to everyone else out there...You all came to this world crying while everyone else was happy....live a life in such a way that when you leave this world, everyone else cries while you leave happily! :)

#8 Time-the perfect healer.

After a long time! I am back with another blog and the title is just perfect according to my current situation.I was unable to post any blogs since long because many things in my life were not going smoothly or as people say I was going through a bad phase in my life. But believe me...time is the perfect healer, Everything happens for a reason.Everything has a purpose.Life gives you lessons covered under different shades. It depends on you how you take them.Maybe the closest ones will hurt you someday or maybe a total stranger would suddenly mean a lot to you.I know everyone would be thinking that its all crap, nothing would be better...its just a matter of saying...but just give some time to time...your time will come...and just keep in mind you are not alone :)

The misunderstanding may creep in and destroy your relation or you may not be too much successful in what you are doing be it academics, sports, job etc. but trust me eventually everything falls into place and life seems better with time. Whenever some thought is troubling you, just think that it wouldn't even matter to you 5 years from now and this will help you to remove the unpleasant thought in your mind.Focus on yourself, give time to yourself, build yourself, develop yourself. Not a single second spent on yourself is wasted. Remove negativity around you.Stay optimistic and believe in yourself.

Everyone has bad phases. Nobody has a perfect life. The name that just popped up in your mind, trust me even he/she would not be having a perfect life if you are thinking so. Happy moments are rare.Live them to the fullest and instead of finding happiness, create it. Indulge in things that give you peace, talk to people who make you happy, cry the tears of joy, not sadness and if still, things are not working out.....give it some TIME,even a little more... Life will get back to you on a positive note. :)

#7 Happiness :)

Happiness is a term that affects the person and his surroundings both. A happy person can make a depressed person happy and the fun part is that the more you spread happiness the more it grows and makes you even happier! I don't think it's a bad deal at all.A happy person also attracts a lot of other happy people and the circle keeps on increasing.
Everyone has the right to be happy but in no case at the cost of somebody else's happiness.People tend to do what makes them happy without worrying about others.A recent incident that happened in Hyderabad when a medical student threw an innocent puppy from the rooftop of his hostel building. What kind happiness does the pain of one give to other? I wonder who was the animal then.
Even people do this to other people.Trust me afterward when they realize, the guilt is unbearable.
So it's better to keep in mind that you and your happiness be the reason of someone else's smile :)

#6 Being ALONE.. good or bad?

Hey guys! Exam just ended and I was unable to post due to same.Today's topic was suggested to me by a really close friend of mine.

Being alone is a situation that everyone has faced at least once in their lifetime.Maybe everyone else is enjoying, partying hard, having fun with friends and you are probably lying on the bed doing practically nothing. This makes us feel alone or lonely. You want to share something, spend some quality time with someone close or special to you,but instead they are busy somewhere or with someone else.OMG! trust me this feeling is heartbreaking! One just simply dies on the inside and overthinking just arrives at the same platform at the same time. Result? DEPRESSION! Feeling to  leave the world and go to new surrounding and get a new start to life. This is for sure a very very bad phase that one has to go through and what makes it worst it that you are alone.Nobody else can help you recover this phase except you yourself! Until you want to be happy, nobody else can make you happy.

Now let's look at the positive side of being alone. One who has mastered the art of being alone peacefully can just stay happy in any situation.People who tend to be happy alone can find happiness in anything. The blowing wind, the chirping birds, the silence of the night...everything is a means of happiness to them.No expectation from anyone is the key.But that's very hard to achieve.Eventually, people realise that at points even the closest people give unhealable wounds. And personally, in my opinion, you are brought to this world by your parents and after that, you are on your own.Like literally. And the more you invest in yourself the better you become day by day.

#5 Exam time!

I know this blog will have minimal views because.....It's EXAM TIME!!Alright Alright everyone is busy studying and nobody has time to read this blog but believe me,my exams are going on too but if you read this blog,it's worth spending your precious time on.
As everyone knows, nobody starts studying a month before exams, everyone studies just a day or two before exams. So many of you must be wondering how do they score so good in exams? The reason is,the good scorers always have one common thing i.e. DEDICATION to study.Even if they study for 1 hour, they would study it in a way that they won't forget it for lifetime. No topic is left untouched. Also most of them are good catchers. They remember every detail once its told to them. One of the reason for good scores is PRESENTATION on answer sheet. Each and every answer is explained with proper use of diagrams and theory,so that even the teacher is confused where to deduct marks.
I am not one of the above mentioned students although but still there are some ways everyone can score good marks.
1. Work on the presentation of your answer sheet-Main factor, trust me.Good presentation always get good scores in exams.
2. Concentrate and study-Keep your cellphones away, stay focused and try to set goals and achieve them within given time period. It would be hard at first, but eventually you will start achieving them within deadlines.
3. Make your mind stable- Oh! this point..Its so so hard to keep your mind stable while studying. While studying your mind will always tend to deviate to most ridiculous thoughts ever like, vacation, movies, songs, funny incidents, etc. NO! this is very bad while studying. Its really hard to control but everyone needs to figure out a way to concentrate the mind only on study.I personally either take a power nap or call any of my close friends and talk to them for a while.
So these are some things everyone can do to score good in exams. Any other techniques? Comment down below :)
Thank you guys for reading the blog.If you like it do follow me on my blog. Signing out, need to study, exams going on! :D

#4 Dil,dosti,etc.

Ok people. This is the topic in which my views may differ from my readers in many ways. But obviously, you can comment down below what you think and also react to my post. People nowadays are confused with love and commitment.Having a girlfriend/boyfriend is NOT LOVE,but rather having someone who was,is and will be there for you always through the ups and down of life is love. One can find love in friendship too. Well, I am no love expert, just sharing my views on this highly controversial topic.I believe commitment should be the final step in a relation when at least one of the two is capable of taking responsibility for  the better half on his own.Until then trust and loyalty are enough to sustain any relation. And about me?Yes, I have some special people in my life. An unspoken love does exist and I do get affected if that love is shared with anybody.

Friendship day,2016.
Talking about friendships!Oh its such a wonderful thing. Friends are the spice of life! They love you, irritate you, fight for you, prank you and what not.But sadly not everyone is as good as you think them to be.The World is full of fake people. You never know who could stab you right behind your back.Trust is built by actions and honestly, in the 2 years span of my college life,I learned that trusting someone blindly can be dangerous. Friendship day,2015-"Promise to be friends forever! I promise.",Friendship day,2016-The eyes turned away seeing the face that promised to be "Friends Forever."

Yes, I know a name suddenly popped up in the mind reading above sentence, but this is a harsh reality of life.I am able to relate because I have been through the same.Time is powerful. It acts as a perfect healer and is also capable of giving you the worst of wounds you could ever imagine.Ego,grudges are some of the killers of the best of friendships. When people stop giving each other importance and are unable to find time for each other, this is when problems start budding b/w them.Being in a relationship and not giving time to your friends is the most uncool thing one can do.College taught me many things other than engineering itself. So let's just sort out things with our friends and hope for a new and fresh start to the neverending friendship.... :)

#3 Being a TEENager

13-19 Years old. An age which we call as teenage and is the most delicate and crucial age as my mom says, to be a good person or to get into all the bad elements in the society. I am currently 19,the last teenage and I can give you the reason why she says so.At this point of time, the brain is all set to explore new things in life, but it doesn't have the maturity to understand what is good or bad for an individual. The age is filled with excitement and the energy to try even the stupidest of the things one can think of. Many teenagers get into a bad influence and commit horrific crimes while looking at the bright side some do miracles and excel in various fields, be it academic or sports.

Parents play a very important role at this age of their child. They should maintain the balance in trusting and restricting their child from various things accordingly.Imposing too much of restriction to a child of this age period may lead him/her to do things without the parents concern, and also too much of trust or love may give the child an opportunity to come under bad influence easily.A child must be punished accordingly when he/she does something bad.
Ah!I think I am gonna be a good parent one day! hehe! *pats on the back.

Also, this is one such age when you meet many temporary people in your life.People who say will be there with you always are now strangers, while people whom you thought you would never ever talk to are now a crucial part of your life.Nature of an individual is influenced by the experiences he/she has faced in this age. Many go through trust issues, many face a heartbreak, many are backstabbed, many even build best friendships ever and overall its sea of emotions with all kinds of fishes in it.But in my opinion, these things are also important for a person to experience. This is how we grow and this is how we learn, not the lessons of a book, but lessons for lifetime..... :)

#2 Dehradun diaries.

Dehradun Valley,Bidholi.
A throwback to the summer times in college when I and my friends went for a casual trek alongside the river behind the college premises.I study in UPES Dehradun ,pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and currently in Semester(V) of the course.Coming from a computer science background I was always passionate about working on computers! Also, I had no interest in science or mathematics either.I originally belong to Delhi(NCR-region) which has a flat terrain and coming to Dehradun and  having a gaze at such views was a mesmerizing experience to me. And why wouldn't it be to anyone who had been living in a super noisy and busy city like Ghaziabad? The serenity ,the calmness this place has makes it even more beautiful. Now everything is a just everyday thing for me but still,at times, Dehradun never fails to amaze me. :)

#1 new hobby.

Well hello, fellow readers! I just started to blog and this is my first ever blog.I don't know how exactly this works, but I will try to blog more often and as I do that, I will improve on it gradually. Please bear with me.
Thanks!
